What I really want...

Is a fairy garden! I saw these on a blog and now it's all I can think about. Okay, not really all I can think about, but still, I have been trying to figure out how and where to build one. I guess I really need a fence first to keep the neighbor kids and dogs out, but I think by summer's end, I will have a fairy garden. When I was a kid, I would spend hours building houses along the rock wall in my backyard, so as soon as I saw this idea, it spoke to me. I think this will be a fun project for me and my girls!

Camp on the brain

I am eating, sleeping, and breathing girls camp right now. There are only about 6 weeks until camp. Can I just scream? I've been working on camp plans since I was called last summer, but the closer it gets, the further I feel from being ready. The basic plans for camp are in place, it's all detail work that's left. I'm trying to find the inspiration for the daily themes. Our main theme is "We seek after these things" from the 13th article of faith, we will be pirates searching for treasure. I want to teach the girls that if they use the 13th A of F as a guideline for living their lives their treasure will be going to the temple and eternal life. If any of my friends out there have favorite quotes or stories related to any of this, please share!
I just talked to a woman at the ranger station, I'm trying to set up service project, and she told me that they hope to get the campground open by memorial day, but they still have 6 foot drifts and at least two feet of snow in the campgrounds. I'm going to cross my fingers and say my prayers that things will work out for us and that we will be able camp and not freeze. We might be camping in my backyard!
