Since I read all of the Twilight series, I decided to finally read "The Host." It's only been sitting on my shelf for 6 months. I had a hard time getting into it, the first few chapters were confusing. Once I got into it, however, I couldn't put it down. It was very interesting and I liked the book a lot. I thought it was better written than the Twilight books. I must say that Stephenie Meyer has an interesting mind. Overall, I think I will give it 2 thumbs up.

Yes, I totally agree with you. It took me a few months to read the first few chapters, then I couldn't put it down either. I think it would make an awesome movie b/c it would make more sense in the beginning to actually see what she's talking about!
